Aurynic (or-in-ik) is a three
peice with the desire
and dedication to make waves in music. They fuse metal and melody for
the perfect blend.
They also like to add extreme amounts of energy
with a huge pinch of creativity that with the finished product they
like
to call metal with A.D.H.D. Be on the lookout for Aurynic to be obliterating a stage near you!!
BAND BIOGRAPHY
Aurynic was formed in November of
2004 when former bandmates Wiley Johnson-vocals, RJ Amberger-drums, and Mike Bullington-guitar got back together
to start something new and fresh. They wanted to create something powerful, insanely energetic and meaningful. So
they started jamming out a few days a week in RJ's garage throwing out ideas and eventually wrote their first song together
which was Unto You. A few months went by and they decided that they really needed to find a bass player. After endless searching
they found Butch Farmer through a friend and caught him up to speed on there songs. Then they practiced for a few months and
perfected their sound till they played their first show at the Creepy Crawl in St. Louis with good friends Wound and Inimical
Drive. Their second show ever was a battle of the bands and they won it with a near flawless score. They felt it was a good
time to start recording a full length debut album. Upon entering Alchemy Sound to record they unfortunately had
to let go of Butch and Mike. They picked up an new bass player by the name of Ian who took on the new songs proudly. Wiley
picked up the guitar and decided to sing and play. They are currently putting the finishing touches on their album
and will be releasing it this fall. Be on the lookout for these guys to be destroying a stage near you very soon.
